Superintendents with the Akron Area School Superintendents' Association recently announced that feedback the state gathered from the public during regional meetings and online on the new state education plan do not appear to have been included in the plan, according to a letter the association has sent to state officials.

GLENDALE, CALIF. -- A 2014 Nordonia High School graduate is hoping to become an "imagineer" after his Howard University team was named a finalist in a design competition sponsored by the creative force behind Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.

Summit County Educational Service Center hosts conference

Summit Educational Service Center (ESC), in conjunction with edCITE, will host the Ohio Assessment Literacy Conference: Deeper Thinking on Jan. 28, beginning at 9 a.m. The conference will take place at 420 Washington Ave. in Cuyahoga Falls.
